WILL IT HURT?

Generally NO it will not hurt, an adjustment is a small movement of a joint within its natural range of motion. However, if there is a lot of inflammation or muscle spasm around the joint there may be some discomfort. Sometimes a special adjusting tool or a drop mechanism on the table will be utilised to make the adjustment more comfortable in these cases.
